FEATURES

What Fleet does — and what it doesn't.

Every capability here is grounded in the client source. Where coverage is bounded, Fleet says so.

Fleet Home & coverage honesty

Fleet Home is a glance surface: a compact fact strip, a Needs You list of known attention items, Active Now execution activity, your recent destinations, and gateway summary rows. Its coverage is deliberately bounded — it shows what this phone has actually observed, not a fleet-wide summary it cannot back up.

  • Needs You is known-items only — incomplete coverage renders "N known items" rather than a complete-looking empty inbox.
  • Active Now is real execution only — unseen bots are not claimed to be idle.
  • Continue is device-local — at most 50 references, 30-day retention, not synchronized.
  • Unknown never renders as zero — not-yet-loaded and unclassifiable states display as unknown.

Gateways

Register, edit, test, and remove gateways. Multiple authentication strategies, connection lifecycle and reconnect controls, multi-gateway roster aggregation, bot and session discovery, per-gateway health information, and QR-assisted pairing.

  • Gateway Detail is a per-machine cockpit: identity, connection controls, current work, resource rows.

Conversations

Create and resume sessions. Stream assistant output and tool activity. Reconnect and recover missed events. Cached conversation history is preserved for cold-start presentation.

  • Approvals, model selection, steer/rename/fork where supported, attachments, reactions.
  • Very long conversations use a bounded display window while authoritative cached history is retained separately.

Bot Mode

The Bots tab is a fleet-wide roster of every bot on every registered gateway, identified by source-qualified identity. Same-name bots on different gateways are never merged.

  • Full bot lifecycle: create, edit, delete with confirmation.
  • Canonical Bot Chat — one continuous chat per bot, context never silently reset.
  • @Bot mentions with roster-wide autocomplete and disambiguation.
  • Bot Routines: interval and time-of-day schedules.

Hosted Groups and cross-gateway groups linked directly between your gateways. The iPhone is controller-only; gateways exchange room traffic directly.

  • Cross-gateway rooms are text-only.
  • RoomLink panel: negotiation state, scoped peer grants with TTL and revocation.
  • Promotion does not fence the previous authority — the operator must confirm.

Management surfaces

Depending on gateway support: cron management, skills management, read-only Kanban board visibility, Projects browsing, memory/learning graph browsing and supported mutations, and connection-health details.

  • The Kanban surface is intentionally read-only in the current client.

Voice

Voice input and spoken replies are implemented on the iOS device. Recognized text is submitted through the normal conversation path. Speech-recognition behavior can vary by locale and platform capability.

Security & privacy behavior

Credentials and tokens use Keychain-backed storage. Gateway endpoints are normalized at the registry boundary. TLS-protected gateway endpoints are preferred.

  • Capability honesty: Fleet does not present unsupported gateway methods as available.

Platform

Built with Swift 6; the current project targets iOS 26.

STATED LIMITS
  • Cross-gateway rooms are text-only (RoomLink advertises attachments: false).
  • The iPhone performs no background couriering of room traffic.
  • Cross-gateway @Bot DM relay is not guaranteed by Fleet.
  • Promotion does not fence the previous authority.
  • Fleet Home coverage is bounded — no fleet-wide telemetry.
